Unfixable reasons for wing motion not working:
3 - Titanium wire "muscle" is broken inside the
miniature hinged bug-body.
4 - Power cord of wings in motion kit has been severed or
cut .
Fixable reasons for wing motion not working:
1 - Plugged into outlet with no power, check cord connections.
Perhaps you should try a different circuit or location as
there may be a problem at that outlet.
2 - Wing inadvertently flattens out and stops moving properly,
needs to be snapped back into position for the wings to continue
motion.
Trouble Shooting Wings:
Step 1 - Before
returning a wings in motion moving butterfly, dragonfly, and/or
moth kit please check to see if the problem can be fixed by
adjusting the wing first. This is especially apparent when
the bug body has automatic movement when powered, but the
wing does not flutter.
Step 2 - To
return the moving wing kit back to normal working order using
your fingers fold the wing over across it center to put the
wings snapped onto the bug body and then fold the wings up
in the "V" position and push them down on each side
to make a slight crease near the narrow portion of the wings.
Each package has on the back a picture of the finger position
to help you get use to the concept.
We do not have many returns, but they do occur.
